These are just a few of the events that the Northern Beaches Social Riders have been up to.
Easter Show, April 2006
We were invited by the Pittwater Motor Enthusiasts Club to be a part of the parade in the main arena. With burning clutches, flying cow pats, an introduction “The Man” would be proud of, several thousand onlookers applauding and cheering the adrenaline was pumping.

Stroud Weekend Away, May 2006
A great weekend was had by all, it was entertaining, lots of laughter, bonding, exciting, relaxing and amusing. Plenty on show, bikes, cars, hot rods, three wheeled v.w’s and trade stalls.

Mystery Ride, June 2006
This ride saw us arriving at the Bee Hives which is down near the HMAS Penguin at Obelisk Beach to see where the Gravediggers hung out – from the movie “Stone”.

Abernethy Weekend Away, August 2006
The tour of wineries was very informative. Another great weekend away.

Teddy’s Memorial Ride, September 2006
This was a ride for “A Brother Lost, Never Forgotten”. We rode from the President Hotel, Belrose to North Richmond Panthers for breakfast then back to the Terrey Hills Tavern for the afternoon festivities and celebration of Teddy’s life. A couple of DVD’s, a toast & then the Vicky Turner Band entertained us for the afternoon. A truly great way to remember a Brother.

Pink Ribbon Ride, October 2006
We headed off from the President Hotel, Belrose with a police escort all the way to the St George Leagues Club where the run was to begin from. With a few hundred bikes all dressed in pink we headed off to Sublime Point lookout and then back to St George Leagues Club for the presentation of awards. We were very proud to receive the 3rd place award for the Best Club Presentation.

McHappy Day at McDonald Mingara November 2006
After an informative reptile show, Nuckles the clown put on his usual entertaining show which the kids (and adults) loved. Shortly after we were all behind the burger counter cooking up a storm. McDonalds Mingara will never be the same again.

Christmas Party December 2006
This was held at the Belrose Bowling Club and what a great night it was. With a tropical theme the atmosphere was buzzing with the festive season underway. There was great food, great music and great company, this was a really good way to end a really busy year and with some people letting down more than just their hair, lots of laughter was enjoyed then and since.

Dooralong Valley Resort Family Weekend, February 2007
This weekend had it all, golf, tennis, aqua aerobics, canoeing, three legged racers, bicycle rides (and falling off bicycles), late nights, early mornings, sun, rain, thunderstorms and blackouts. A wonderful weekend where new friendships were formed and existing ones strengthened.
