I have volunteered and donated to NBSR and it’s such a joy to see how the NBSR all team up together to gather funds to fulfil these dreams. It's a pleasure to be part of this, so if you are ever thinking of donating to a charity, believe me, this is one that is very worthwhile.

My family and I attended the Bikie BBQ fundraiser a couple of weeks ago. My kids had a great time on the jumping castle and getting their faces painted. My husband and I are still amazed at the generosity both by NBSR members and the public that was displayed on the day to be able to raise the amount of $10,000 for the "Cure Our Kids" foundation. This fundraising shows an overwhelming and magnificant achievement of determination and kind hearts of the NBSR team. Well done NBSR. Keep up your good work. Both times we were very impressed with how the event was set out and obviously extremely well planned. The amount of "big hearts" and "open wallets" present is comforting to see that there is help for those in need and that people, generally strangers do care. Our kids had a wonderful time on the jumping castle, getting their faces painted, playing with their friends, the food and importantly to experience the compassion and giving to those in need.
NBSR you are doing a great thing in your excellent fundraising efforts for good causes. You may look a little tough on the outside, however we have experienced what a wonderful group of generous softies you all are. What a wonderful idea to combine your passion for motorbikes with your big hearts to enable you to make a difference to the kids in need around Australia. WELL DONE! Organisations like this show us there are people out there who willingly sacrifice their own time to make a difference. Keep up the great work! I have been fortunate enough to attend both annual Bikie BBQ's and look forward to many more. Seeing some of those sick kids smile whilst shaving the hair (or the customary facial hair) of a bikie or two is the highlight of the day for me... And of course all the generous people emptying their pockets for the sick kids who are the way they are for no wrong doing of their own.

I was lucky enough to be invited to the Bikie BBQ at Terrey Hills & witness all those brave people have their hair shaved off to raise money for kids with cancer. I really got into the fun of the day getting my face painted with all the kids & sitting back listening to the live music which was so good!! I did want to get on the jumping castle but at the age of 30 I am probably about 20 years too old for that!! I was so touched by the generosity of the club members & the obvious enthusiasm for the cause that they were really getting behind & I congratulate them all on a very successful & enjoyable day.
